You can now send the same message to multiple clients at once using Announcement Chatrooms – perfect for sharing updates, announcements, or important info.
- Add all your active clients at once
- Clients can’t reply or see who else got the message
- They receive it by email and in their client portal
- Announcement chatrooms are marked with a badge
👥 Who can create/access Announcements?
Admins and regular members can create Announcement Chatrooms
Internal users can access chatrooms based on their permissions:
→ If the "Access to all chat rooms" setting is enabled, they'll automatically see all regular and announcement chatrooms
→ If not, they'll need to be added manually to each chatroom they should access
👀 Where & how do clients see Announcements?
Clients will receive the message via email and can view the message directly in their client portal. The reply box is disabled and replaced with a short message explaining that it’s a read-only thread:
💡 Our recommandation:
Create one default “General Announcements” chatroom with all your clients to keep them informed.
Optionally, create additional announcement rooms by client group, project type, or service to send more targeted updates.
